Job Opportunity:

60degrees, a renowned consulting company with over a century of experience in Southern Africa, is seeking a creative and driven Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing electrical and electronic installation models using technical and 3D/BIM modeling skills, coordinating space reservations, and ensuring the functionality of designs and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrical and electronic installation models using technical and 3D/BIM modeling skills.
  • Coordinate space reservations and ensure contractors erect according to model specifications.
  • Participate in projects and ensure contractors meet design specifications.
  • Collaborate with different teams across the company to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • BEng, BSc, or BTech qualification in Electrical Engineering/Electronics.
  • Minimum of 4 to 10+ years post-qualification experience.
  • PrEng or a candidate registered with ECSA.
  • Proven work experience within a consulting environment.
  • BIM and Revit experience is a must.
  • Expert knowledge of Electrical/Electronic Building Services and regulations.
  • Ability to travel within the SADC region.
