Job Description

As a Grade A Security Officer at Tsuafrica, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest level of security and safety within our facilities. You will be responsible for patrolling premises regularly, monitoring entrances, removing unauthorized individuals, securing exits, and investigating suspicious activity.

Responsibilities
  1. Premise Patrol**: Regularly patrol facilities to maintain order and establish presence.
  2. Access Control**: Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people into the property.
  3. Removal of Unauthorized Individuals**: Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area.
  4. Securing Exits**: Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations.
  5. CCTV Monitoring**: Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
  6. Suspicious Activity Investigation**: Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions.
  7. Alarm Response**: Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
  8. Assistance to People in Need**: Provide assistance to people in need.
  9. Perpetrator Detention**: Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities.
  10. Daily Surveillance Report**: Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
Requirements
  1. Grade A PSIRA Registration**: Must be Grade A – PSIRA registered and up to date.
  2. Highest Qualification**: Highest School qualification - Grade 12.
  3. Excellent Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills in English – verbal and written.
  4. Corporate Guarding Experience**: At least 1 year experience in corporate guarding.
  5. Search Procedure Knowledge**: Knowledge and understanding of the search procedure.
  6. Private Security Sector Experience**: At least 2 years' experience in the private security sector.
  7. No Criminal Record**: No criminal record.
  8. Long Hours Tolerance**: Must be able stand for long hours.
  9. Natality and Presentability**: Must be neat and presentable.
  10. Good People Skills**: Good people skills.
