At Senwes Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Management Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Credit Cluster, you will be responsible for managing all stand-alone month accounts and special accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Compiling application and supporting documents for credit applications.
- Reviewing monthly accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Handling interim and additional applications in a timely manner.
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will provide administrative support for all portfolios within the Credit Cluster.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing grain finance accounts with precision and attention to detail.
- Compiling journals and cash focus entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Credit limit management involves following up on extensions requested, approval conditions for opening facilities, and arranging for credit limits to become available.
A key aspect of this role is collection of debt and payments, including monitoring monthly accounts in arrears, telephonic enquiries and arrangements with clients regarding debt collection and payments, reconciliation of accounts, early identification of accounts in dispute or arrears, and preparing accounts for transfer to the Legal department.
We require candidates with National Senior Certificate (candidates with commerce background will receive preference) and at least 1 year's relevant experience. Candidate with SAP experience will receive preference. We are committed to transformation through the appointment of persons from designated groups, and potential candidates from these groups will enjoy preference. A consumer credit record will be requested in respect of all appointments which involve dealing with cash or finances.
