Responsibilities

The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for providing solutions on our SaaS products and leading requirements elicitation, creating Software Requirements Specification (SRS), and supporting deployment and post-deployment activities.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • At least 4 years of related work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading SaaS application development teams for Azure target environments.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and work experience in Node.js and its APIs.
  • Ability to develop, integrate, and test REST APIs.
  • Ability to design and work with Swagger documentation.
  • Experience in DevOps methodologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools.
  • Knowledge on various components like Docker Engine, Hub, Machine, Compose, and Docker Registry.
  • Expertise in source control and deployment tools like GitLab, Team Foundation Server, Jenkins, etc.
  • Working experience in developing frontend using React is preferred.

The Senior Backend Engineer will also be responsible for:

  • Designing scalable and maintainable SaaS products using modern software engineering principles.
  • Leading technical initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SaaS products.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers to foster their professional development.
  • Ensuring transparent communication on progress with remote team members.
