We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with post-basic OTNS qualification and extensive experience in theatre nursing to join our team.
As a key member of the surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all procedures are executed safely and efficiently, while providing exceptional patient care and maintaining a safe environment for both patients and staff.
We are looking for an individual who possesses strong leadership abilities, is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a safe environment will be essential to this role.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring effective people management by providing theatre specific training and assessing staff competence
- Effective SHEQ management by ensuring the use of personal protective clothing and complying with ISO requirements
- Providing quality patient care by obtaining correct information pre-operatively and visiting patients post-operatively
Requirements:
- Registered at SANC as a Registered Nurse with a post-basic OTNS qualification
- At least 2 years of experience in theatre nursing
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in a senior position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
