At Pronel Personnel, we have an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join our team as a Supply Chain Graduate. As part of our graduate trainee program, you will gain focused work experience in supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:Customer Service

You will demonstrate an understanding of the role of customer service function in the company business model.

Design

You will understand the information required by the design team to design new packaging boxes or innovate existing ones.

Procurement
  1. You will understand and adhere to procurement related standard operating procedures.
  2. You will understand the process to procure raw materials used in the packaging manufacturing process.
Inbound Logistics and Warehouse
  1. You will demonstrate understanding of and adherence to inbound logistics and warehousing standard operating procedures and related documentation and process flows.
  2. You will conduct stock checks and counts regarding raw materials.
  3. You will demonstrate knowledge of materials kept in the warehouse (paper types, grades, chemicals, etc.).
  4. You will control and monitor pallets.
  5. You will coordinate delivery of materials with suppliers and transporter.
  6. You will prepare and analyze various reports used in the section or issued to other sections or departments.
  7. You will control warehousing and WIP functions, plan and organize the warehouse layout in such a way that stock can be managed efficiently and vehicles loaded quickly and correctly.
Production Planning
  1. You will demonstrate understanding of the role of production planner.
  2. You will demonstrate understanding of the requirements and checks to be carried out before communicating the production plan.
  3. You will communicate with all parties required to ensure that the plan can be delivered.
  4. You will plan corrugator production to meet internal and external customer demand.
Outbound Logistics and Despatch
  1. You will demonstrate understanding of and adherence to outbound logistics and despatch standard operating procedures and related documentation and process flow.
  2. You will demonstrate an understanding of various aspects of load planning.
  3. You will plan and coordinate customer deliveries.
  4. You will conduct finished goods checks and counts.
  5. You will understand and control redundant and aged stock in the finished goods area.
  6. You will manage OTIF in terms of customer deliveries and monitor adherence to plan.
  7. You will identify areas of non-conformance or adherence to the supply plan, investigate causes and implement solutions.
  8. You will prepare and analyze various reports as used in the section or issued to other sections or departments.
Supply Chain Management
  1. You will demonstrate an understanding of the criticality of adhering to the supply plan.
  2. You will demonstrate financial acumen and ability to carry out financial planning and budgeting.
  3. You will manage a functional department.
  4. You will manage and lead a team of managers or non-managers.
