We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Dante Personnel in Pretoria, Faerie Glen. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering process design solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Salary: R550,000 - R650,000 per annum (depending on experience), plus benefits.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to lead the development of process designs for chemical plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop process designs for chemical plants, including process scope definition, technology selection, and compilation of process design basis documents.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their project requirements and ensure process designs meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with discipline engineers to develop designs that meet process requirements and find suitable process solutions.
  • Assist with commissioning of plant and equipment, ensuring smooth start-up and operation.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as requested by management, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in process design and development, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office.
