We are seeking a highly skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Maintenance Specialist to join our team at MECS Africa.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a key role in maintaining efficient refrigeration plants operating at optimal levels. You will be responsible for ensuring heat exchangers chill water to temperatures at correct flow rates as per setting, and maintaining cold storage rooms at required temperatures.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain efficient refrigeration plants operating at optimal levels
- Ensure heat exchangers chill water to temperatures at correct flow rates as per setting
- Maintain cold storage rooms at required temperatures
- Artisan Industrial Refrigeration Trade Test (Other trade qualification acceptable when supported with appropriate refrigeration training and experience)
- Certified to work in ammonia refrigeration plants
- 5 years' experience in ammonia refrigeration plants and relevant equipment
- 5 years' experience in Freon refrigeration systems, including air conditioning systems (service and installation)
- Well-established electric knowledge and skills, especially on control circuits
- Able to work well in a multi-disciplinary team
- Familiarity with planned maintenance systems
Our company offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
