Risk Management Specialist

At The Recruitment Council, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Regulatory Compliance Expert to join our team. This role offers an estimated salary of $60,000 per year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a strong background in risk management and compliance to take on new challenges. As a Financial Regulatory Compliance Expert, you will be responsible for conducting compliance reporting, reviewing legislative changes, and assisting in documenting processes and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification, such as B Com (Accounting) or B Com Honours in Risk Management, and completed accounting or auditing articles. They will also possess advanced computer literacy skills, particularly in MS Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct compliance reporting for business units to meet internal and external requirements.
- Review upcoming legislative changes and recommend necessary adjustments to risk control and operational procedures.
- Assist in documenting processes and procedures, and plan related training sessions.
- Evaluate system performance and recommend required changes.
- Handle FSP license changes as needed.
Additional Requirements:
- Provide back-up support for colleagues as required.
