Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Job Description:

A well-established organisation, 60degrees, within the engineering niche is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to lead engineering projects and participate in civil and structural engineering.

Your Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and understanding specific project scope and deliverables, managing the submission of competitive proposals, liaising with other professional team members, coordinating and managing structural engineering design teams, planning and managing the engineering aspects of projects in terms of scope, time, costs, and quality, and preparing contract administration documentation based on NEC3/NCE4.

Our Required Expertise:

• BEng and BSc Civil Engineering is required.
• ECSA Registered Technologist or Engineer is required.
• 8 years of experience in engineering and design of concrete and steel structures.
• Must have experience in the design of reinforced concrete and structural steel structures.
• Experience in leading structural design projects, including resource planning and design time frame estimates.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of software like Bentley Microstation and/or AutoCAD, Prokon, and Revit.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas Environment will be an advantage.

Your Reward:

R600,000.00 – R650,000.00 per annum
