Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Process/ Industrial Engineer to lead process analysis, design, implementation, and execution across Supply Chain to ensure end-to-end efficient and optimal utilisation of resources. The successful candidate will provide operational support by collecting, analysing, and interpreting data and initiating proactive corrective action to ensure Supply Chain performance adheres to set KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop business cases to drive process improvements
  • Lead supply chain projects to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiative projects to optimise processes
  • Map and develop processes for effective data management
  • Develop SOPs to enable optimal business and system integration
  • Provide operational support by compiling, coordinating, and publishing reports
  • Analyse and interpret data to track critical items and drive decision-making
  • Manage budgets and control costs (DC budgets)
  • Liaise with role-players and departments to provide support and submit relevant reports
  • Perform ad hoc duties and projects as required
Requirements:
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Recently graduated or 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer
  • Retail industry experience will be advantageous
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience in Lean and/or Sigma methodology will be an advantage
  • Advanced computer literacy (Google workspace, Looker studio, SQL)
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • South African Citizen
