We are committed to excellence, innovation, and safety, and our professionals are dedicated to delivering exceptional results. As technology advances, UAV operations play an increasingly crucial role in various industries, from surveillance and reconnaissance to data collection and beyond.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and production planning, with experience in monitoring inventory levels, providing regular production status updates, and ensuring that production orders are completed on time and within budget. Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate MRP requirements and propose optimal supply solutions to the business.
  • Schedule jobs in accordance with business requirements, considering the production schedule and procurement lead times.
  • Coordinate and identify long lead time items and mitigate any bottlenecks caused by these items.
  • Plan and implement material planning for all electrical items.
  • Prepare procurement data packs with project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Coordinate and assist in managing external suppliers' builds of electrical equipment.
  • Identify and expedite critical items through the supply chain.
  • Verify resource availability (material, equipment) required for production to deliver, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Promptly address and resolve production issues to minimize delays in production.
  • Monitor and drive required changes to production schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Promptly inform relevant departments of any changes affecting current production schedules.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of an improved ERP system.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma (advantageous) or relevant experience in supply chain and production environment.
  • 5+ years' experience as a production planner.
  • Must have own transport.
  • Must be proficient in all MS applications.
  • Must have sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and ERP-related software.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary: R550,000 - R700,000 per annum, depending on experience.
