Job Summary:

Oxyon Human Capital Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates for machining and fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
  • Conduct thorough site visits and assessments to gather data and information for estimates.
  • Analyze and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Projects to create and manage estimates, reports, and other documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and procurement specialists, to ensure estimates are accurate and aligned with project goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve estimating processes and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 – 7 years' experience in estimating in machining and fabrication.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and using Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Projects.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and project management skills.
  • Technical background and hands-on experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience in procurement will be an advantage.
