  • This role requires an expert in financial management, responsible for overseeing and managing the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and other relevant regulations.

  • Ongoing tasks involve analysing cost structures and implementing cost-reduction strategies, ensuring accurate cost accounting and inventory valuation.
  • The successful candidate will optimise working capital, including accounts payable and receivable management, ensuring compliance with tax laws, VAT regulations, and company financial policies.
  • Leadership skills are essential, requiring the ability to lead, mentor, and develop the production finance team, working closely with production, procurement, and operations teams to ensure financial efficiency.
  • The ideal candidate will drive process improvements within the finance department, promoting a strong company culture and teamwork.
Required Qualifications

Ambitious Candidate

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, preferably with professional qualifications such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in financial management, ideally in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, cost accounting, and financial reporting, proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, fluent in Afrikaans and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
