Santam Insurance is looking for a highly skilled Technical GIS Specialist to join our team. As a Technical GIS Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing project deliverables, providing underwriting viewer support, and performing daily GIS tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the management and execution of project deliverables.
  • Provide administrative and data management support to the ArcGIS Online Viewer application.
  • Perform daily GIS tasks related to data collection, cleaning, and analysis for both spatial and non-spatial data.
  • Geocode Santam policy data, perform address data cleaning, and conduct GIS analysis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Geoinformatics, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience as a GIS Technologist/Professional.
  • Proficiency in ESRI software suite, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
  • Familiarity with Python scripting for customization and automation.
