About the Role

The Recruitment Council is seeking a young professional to join our team as an Investment Planning Assistant. The primary role will be to support and assist financial planners in their daily job duties, enhancing their interactions with clients and contributing to the planning process.

Key responsibilities include conducting administrative tasks such as answering calls, scheduling appointments, and organizing client records, as well as offering recommendations on investment options, analyzing data, and providing insights to financial planners.

Core Duties

  • Conduct thorough research to facilitate compliance checks, create suitability reports, and answer technical queries from clients.
  • Support client projections by helping create financial reports and indirectly assisting financial planners in their client interactions.
  • Prepare analytical reports based on financial data and research to aid financial planners in making informed decisions and communicating effectively with clients.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Completion of Certified Financial Planning (CFP).
  • Matric certificate.
