Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 (DOE)

Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for handling domestic abuse cases and childcare cases, as well as managing other areas of work involving divorce and separation, financial remedy, co-habitation, children matters, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle domestic abuse cases and childcare cases.
  • Manage other areas of work involving:
    • Divorce and separation
    • Financial remedy
    • Co-habitation
    • Children matters
    • Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
  • Work on public and private law children matters and financial proceedings.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Resolution member or working towards
  • 4+ PQE (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of Legal Aid work.
  • Experience in all areas of family law work.
  • Experience in supervising paralegals is advantageous.
  • Excellent client care skills.
