About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Officer to join our team in the Eastern Cape. This role is responsible for providing business advice, training, and information on Seda products and services to small enterprises in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate branch events and activities, providing support as needed.
  • Disseminate information to internal and external stakeholders, making relevant referrals where necessary.
  • Conduct assessments and implement interventions to drive business growth.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training and information sessions to enhance business capabilities.
  • Maintain and update database records and marketing material to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • A Certificate in Business Management or Marketing is required, along with 3-4 years' experience in a customer-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of the small enterprise development sector is essential, as well as exposure to its challenges and opportunities.
  • Events and training coordination experience is also highly valued.
