Cybersecurity Threat Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Threat Analyst to join our team at HuntWave Technologies. As a key member of our Security Operations Centre (SOC), you will be responsible for real-time security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and cybersecurity risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Threat Detection & Response: Continuously monitor security logs and alerts using SIEM tools to identify potential threats and respond accordingly.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate and analyze security incidents, breaches, and alerts to determine root cause and implement mitigation strategies.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security risks, and assist in patch management processes to ensure system security.
- Security Tools & SIEM Management: Configure and fine-tune SIEM solutions for better threat detection, and assist in the deployment and management of security monitoring tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3-5 years experience in SOC operations, cybersecurity monitoring, or IT security.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, malware, and attack vectors.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and VPN security.
