">MANCOSA, a registered private higher education distance education provider, is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Coordinator in our School of Global Tourism and Hospitality. We offer undergraduate and postgraduate business qualifications, focusing on practical application through our unique Work Integrated Learning program.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Manage and support students prior to, during, and after their WIL experience.
- Provide timely inputs, statistical analysis, and reports to the Academic Program Leader on all matters related to WIL.
- Respond efficiently and effectively to student queries.
- Deliver training events, workshops, and presentations to students, focusing on developing a deeper understanding of WIL.
- Lead property mentors prior to, during, and after WIL.
- Oversight and maintenance of the property mentors database.
- Facilitate networking and/or partnership sessions with property mentors.
- Plan and manage WIL events/activities.
- Develop, train, and maintain all aspects of WIL, including policies and SOPs.
- Liaise with WIL students regarding non-academic performance and behavior.
- Responsible for academic delivery, assessments, curriculum, grading, and reviewing students' work.
- Compile final Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) by obtaining property mentor assessments.
- Prepare and maintain WIL assessments for verification and audits.
- Collaborate with the student support division to design, develop, and implement student-academic intervention plans.
- Curriculum and Handbook reviews as needed, providing feedback to Academic Programme Managers for updates and improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
">The ideal candidate will possess a Tourism and Hospitality Post Graduate Diploma and 2 years of relevant working experience in the field. Additionally, they should have minimum 1-2 years of experience in Learner Management System administration/coordination and strong organizational and planning skills.
