Job Title: Micro Space Planner

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Micro Space Planner to join our team at Leroy Merlin. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for designing and developing merchandising content, including planograms and showroom layouts, to maximize product visibility, sales, and customer experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize merchandising content, including planograms, pedagogy materials, and showroom layouts, to align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from sales, supply chain, and market trends to create data-driven merchandising strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of merchandising content and drive operational excellence.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry innovations, trends, and technologies to enhance store layouts and product placement efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in merchandising, retail management, business, design, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Micro Space Planning, ideally within the retail sector.
  • Proficiency in merchandising software, particularly Blue Yonder (JDA) or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in interpreting data to create data-driven, customer-focused store layouts.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
