The primary objective of this role is to deliver competent nursing services in accordance with established policies, regulatory frameworks, and best practices, ensuring that patient needs and preferences are met effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Collaborate as part of a surgical team under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
- Exhibit proficiency and confidence in the role of Circulating Nurse.
- Provide friendly and professional clinical care to support the holistic well-being of patients and ensure their safety.
- Uphold and enhance patient hygiene across all dimensions.
- Mitigate the risk of cross-contamination by strictly following infection control protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort and prevent potential complications.
- Support patient welfare through diligent monitoring and observations.
- Accurately document all findings in the patient's medical records.
- Safeguard patient confidentiality at all times.
- Conduct timely and precise inventory checks.
- Utilize, maintain, and store resources responsibly to prevent waste and misuse of equipment and supplies.
- Exhibit sound judgment, client service orientation, and decision-making skills aligned with company values.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a surgical environment is essential.
- Flexibility to work varying hours based on departmental needs.
- Comprehensive understanding of nursing responsibilities within the defined scope of practice.
