Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Electrical and C&I Draughtsman for a dynamic team in the engineering consulting industry.



This role involves working on diverse projects, supporting the Engineering team by drafting electrical and C&I drawings and assisting with as-built deliverables.



Responsibilities:

  • Work with Design Engineers to understand project requirements and apply project specs.
  • Create drawings for MV, LV, and DC systems, including concept, basic, and detailed designs.
  • Support installation activities by checking as-built statuses, updating drawings, and revising designs.
  • Ensure the quality of work and meet deadlines for producing drawings.
  • Integrate electrical and C&I designs with civil, mechanical, and piping systems.


Requirements:

  • Minimum National Certificate level 5 in a relevant draughting qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of experience in C&I and electrical design.
  • Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry and Renewable Energy is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of General Arrangement Layouts, Single Line Diagrams, Circuit Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, and other relevant documentation.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Underground Ducts, Electrical Grounding, Small Power & Lighting, and other relevant systems.
  • Practical knowledge of control systems and working knowledge of LV, MV, DC system designs.
  • Familiarity with the OHS Act and its Regulations.
  • Understanding of quality systems and knowledge of standards and practices within the C&I/electrical discipline.
  • Proficiency in AVEVA, AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical, MicroStation, and other 3D software.
