About the Role

Ogilvy Johannesburg is seeking a skilled Motion Designer to create high-quality animations and motion graphics for various advertising projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing engaging animations for digital, social media, and on-air platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and create captivating animations for DOOH, social media, and digital banners.
  • Animate shapes, text, logos, images, and other graphic elements to craft compelling visual stories.
  • Create transitions and effects to enhance the visual appeal of the final output.
  • Edit videos and integrate animations and transitions into them as required.
  • Collaborate with creative directors, art directors, and other team members to bring concepts to life.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Experience in motion graphics/animation, preferably in the advertising industry, content/entertainment industry, and/or for FMCG brands.
  • Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of animation work, including experience with various multimedia formats such as DOOH, social media, and digital banners.
  • Solid understanding of video editing and ability to integrate animations into videos.
