At HR Genie, we're seeking a skilled Automation Software Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development life cycle, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in Feature Teams to deliver high-quality products to Product Owners.
  • Contribute to QA planning and preparation, including test strategy development, test plan review, and code review.
  • Execute QA testing activities, identify defects, and provide feedback on QA practices and risks.
  • Collaborate with developers to create test stubs and drivers, and ensure integration testing is conducted.
  • Utilize JIRA and Azure DevOps to track tasks, defects, and quality metrics.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive testing, and web analytics understanding.
  • Meet execution and reporting targets, and attend regular meetings with the team.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in software development life cycle and software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, scripting languages, and Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Ability to write automated tests, execute them, and understand CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of OOPs-oriented languages and scripting languages.
Competencies:
  • Automation understanding of CI servers, source repositories, and Agile terminologies.
  • Ability to write automated tests and execute them.
  • Understanding and experience with automated acceptance testing, integration, and performance.
