Job Title: Sports Club Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sports Club Manager to join our team at Vine Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Padel club in Franschhoek, ensuring the smooth operation of the club, enhancing member experience, and driving the club's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Padel club, ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Staff Management: Lead and manage the club's staff, including the Front of House Hosts & coaches.
  • Member Experience: Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members and guests.
  • Basic Financial Management: Manage the club's budget, including expense tracking, revenue reporting, and inventory management.
  • Marketing & Community Engagement: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local marketing strategies.
  • Facility & Equipment Management: Ensure that all Padel courts, equipment, and facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
  • Coaching & Program Development: Develop and oversee coaching programs and schedules.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Sports Management, Business Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Padel or similar racket sports experience is a plus, especially if coaching.
