We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Analyst to join our team at Psybergate. As an Automation Test Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our solutions and their architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement reusable automated test assets using our automation framework and pre-defined test tools.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with peers, subject matter experts, developers, product owners, and other stakeholders through transparent communication.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance leads, practice leads, business analysts, developers, architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to meet client expectations.
  • Contribute to retrospective reviews to introduce efficiencies and ensure quicker delivery with high quality.
  • Participate in planning, estimation, and sizing of products, features, and stories to be delivered.
  • Deliver a well-structured quality assurance solution aligned to enterprise quality practices and standards within agreed timelines.
  • Report and manage issue resolution timeously to avoid unplanned expenses and stability issues.
  • Contribute to the systematic breakdown of business needs into manageable features, stories, and epics.
  • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, test estimation, and acceptance criteria per story.
  • Discuss low-level design and functional requirements with the QA lead and application/solution architect to understand the approach to test automation.
  • Collaborate with the core technical team to improve automation frameworks and the overall platform.
  • Develop automation code using the automation test kit for execution.
  • Implement test automation solutions with adequate coverage within the sprint.
  • Ensure test automation solutions meet architectural and development standards, are reusable, and scalable.
  • Confirm that automation test code is appropriately catalogued, stored, and aligns with required governance.
  • Ensure artefacts are easily obtainable by storing all relevant artefacts in the repository.
  • Integrate into and test automation execution on DevOps pipelines.
  • Log defects using the pre-defined defect management process and tool, and ensure relevant information is captured accurately.
  • Identify potential product risks and communicate to the QA lead with details and possible mitigation factors.
  • Report testing status to the squad daily.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure defect resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Participate in all retrospective reviews.
  • Participate in showcases to stakeholders.
  • Understand and manage own time based on expected timelines articulated by line-management and project expectations.
  • Collaborate with peers and industry experts to understand technical advances and its application within the company ecosystem.
  • Seek ongoing improvements in technical capabilities.
  • Mentor software test engineers within the team to improve technical capabilities.
  • Support the achievement of business strategy, objectives, and values.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the field of expertise.
  • Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities.
  • Contribute to company culture building initiatives.
  • Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy.
  • Seek opportunities to improve business processes, models, and systems through agile thinking.
Requirements
  • Completed IT/BSc degree or other related fields.
  • 5 years experience as an Automation Test Analyst.
  • Good working knowledge of Front End and API automation as well as Performance Testing (NFT).
  • Tools include Selenium/Appium/Healenium, RestAssured, and JMeter.
