Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Manager at Conova Recruitment, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily processing for the finance team, reviewing monthly reconciliations, and managing the company's treasury. You will also be responsible for completing the month-end process, including preparing monthly journals, and generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Additionally, you will prepare and run annual audits and financial statements, conduct financial analysis, and implement process improvements. You will also ensure the company's compliance with IFRS and undertake ad-hoc projects assigned by the Managing Director.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Matric certificate, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and at least 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting. You will also need advanced Excel skills, experience with SAGE and Pastel Partner, and the ability to develop financial and operational models. SAIPA and CIMA qualifications are advantageous.

Skills:

You will need strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. You will also need to be self-motivated, able to learn new concepts, and participate in new projects. You will need to have a flair for numbers, work well with people, and be able to anticipate impacts of workload and issues on team deadlines. You will also need to be flexible and able to work as part of a team.
