Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with internal teams, including accounting, valuations, systems implementation, operational teams, pricing, and technical marketing.
  • Analyze root causes of errors and parties impacted by these root causes.
  • Document data issues and possible solutions.
  • Improve manual Excel tools to lock and version control changes.
  • Understand risk factors within business data processes and how SOPs manage these risks.
  • Support testing of solutions by writing test cases and creating reports for testing.
  • Analyze raw data.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
  • Matric Mathematics (essential)
  • Maths or Actuarial degree (essential)
  • Student of ASSA (advantageous)
  • 1 year of Risk Pricing experience within the Insurance Industry
  • Understanding of insurance and data risks (advantageous)
  • Data analysis experience recommended
  • Programming in VBA recommended
