The National Key Account Manager role is pivotal in driving business growth and expansion within the pet food division. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and implementing effective sales strategies.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  1. Sales Strategy Development: Developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and expansion, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers within national retail chains or major accounts, understanding client needs and addressing concerns.
  3. Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiating contracts, pricing, and trading terms with buyers to maximise profitability and volume share growth while maintaining strong relationships with retailers.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, finance, and product development to ensure alignment on strategies and execution plans.
  5. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Tracking sales performance against targets, monitoring market share, and analysing key performance of own brands against competitors' brands and market growth monthly.
Qualifications and Experience

BCom Degree / ND Sales or Marketing with at least 3 years key account management experience. Pet food experience highly advantageous.
