Seeking an experienced Treasury Expert to join our team at Puma Energy. Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate treasury and experience in cash flow management, financial analysis, and risk assessment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing effective cash flow management strategies to optimize liquidity and minimize financial risk.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports, including cash flow statements and forecasts, to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Managing financial relationships with banks and other external partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective financing options.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to execute financing transactions and maintain compliance with debt covenants.
  • Analyzing and mitigating foreign exchange risks through hedging strategies and trade negotiations.
  • Providing expert advice on financial matters to support business growth and capital requirements.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in finance or related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience in corporate treasury, with a focus on cash flow management and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrable numeracy and analytical skills, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to work with financial data and systems.
  • Africa FX experience preferred.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
