The primary objective of this role is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape and requirements to analyze data effectively, providing essential analytical and quantitative insights that facilitate operational, tactical, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and contribute to tactical business strategies while executing relevant business intelligence (BI) projects and initiatives that align with strategic goals, incorporating specific performance metrics and control systems to monitor progress.
- Enhance business profitability through efficient cost management by delivering impactful Business Intelligence solutions, focusing on time and resource optimization.
- Integrate diverse data assets, including outcomes from data science and analytics teams, into business operations.
- Foster a culture of efficiency by promoting the principle of 'build once and build for all', leveraging existing tools developed by other data and analytics teams prior to initiating new builds.
- Extract and profile data from multiple sources to establish technical BI requirements, ensuring clarity from source to target.
- Address queries as needed, handling medium to complex data extraction requests.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and relevant stakeholders to generate comprehensive BI business requirement documentation for approval.
- Deliver business summaries that enhance strategic, tactical, and operational insights and decision-making processes.
- Analyze information to derive valuable insights regarding the bank's products, channels, service levels, trends, and customer behaviors, facilitating informed business and operational decisions.
- Engage with stakeholders to provide input on assigned projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements within specified timelines and specifications.
- Participate in new projects by designing, defining, and documenting Business Intelligence solutions that meet business needs while addressing ad-hoc information requests from clients.
- Assist in establishing the intellectual direction for the team in consultation with necessary stakeholders, creating conceptual frameworks across various projects.
- Share insights and ideas for new or enhanced data products within the Business Intelligence domain.
- Offer expertise to relevant stakeholders in specialized areas.
- Maintain the Business Intelligence repository to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
