  2. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  3. Risk Identification and Prevention: Recognize potential risks and take proactive measures to prevent harm and ensure patient safety.
  4. Positive Patient Experience: Foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes patient well-being and satisfaction.
  5. Record-Keeping: Document all nursing interventions and patient interactions accurately and comprehensively.
  6. Staff Development and Education: Contribute to staff development and education to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
  7. Resource Utilization: Ensure accurate charting of stock and equipment utilization.

Requirements

A Higher Certificate in Nursing or equivalent is required. Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses for specific specialty areas are desirable. Infection prevention and control skills, basic life support abilities, and computer literacy (Microsoft Office) are essential. Regulations regarding the Scope of Practice for Nurses and Midwives, relevant nursing legislation, and the scientific nursing process are also necessary.
