Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Drafter to join our team at Professional Career Services for a challenging role in CBU 413311

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and draft reinforced concrete and structural steelwork projects in the built environment
  • Develop and implement draughting standards and procedures in accordance with ISO and company templates
  • Train and mentor junior draughting staff to ensure conformity with industry and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to ensure coordinated drawings and projects

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in reinforced concrete and structural steelwork draughting with a strong understanding of industry and regulatory standards
  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) and N4/N5 Multi-Disciplinary Drawing Office Practice (MDDOP) National Certificate or a Certificate of Competency from a Member College of The South African Institute of Draughting
  • Certificate of Completion in AutoDesk Revit Structures and proficiency in Building Information Modelling (BIM) software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor junior staff
