Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Team Lead to join our client's team in Cape Town, SA. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of design engineers and providing technical guidance on electrical design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and guide design engineers on technical-related issues
  • Engineering Project Management
  • Electrical Wiring Design (2D, 3D, Schematics) and Integration of Control Modules
  • Design reviews and integration
  • CAD design and Product Data Management (3D modelling and creation of 2D drawings)

Requirements:

  • B.Eng or BSc or BTech degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in design, preferably wiring design and controller integration in the automotive electrical design environment
  • Be willing to travel overseas for variable periods
