Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Petshop Science Director to join our team at Shoprite Group of Companies.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is R350,000 - R450,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • To ensure the successful operation and profitability of the Pet Science store by generating sales and revenue.
  • To supervise and manage stock levels according to company policy, ensuring that inventory is accurately managed and costs are minimized.
  • To recruit, train, and develop a team of employees who can meet customer expectations and provide excellent service.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 – Essential
  • Degree/Diploma in a related field - Advantageous
Experience
  • A minimum of 1 year management experience in a Pet Store environment.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in managing inventory, buying, staff, pet merchandising, and costs and profitability of a Pet Store.
