Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading demand-generating sales activities in the assigned market for the assigned product, service or solution.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and relationship-building skills to drive business growth through the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the industry, a proven track record of success in business development and sales, and the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead demand-generating sales activities in the assigned market for the assigned product, service or solution.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to achieve revenue targets.
  • Maintain an extensive network of internal and external contacts to ensure that the relevant business unit within the OPCO is optimally placed in its understanding of business, economic, political and commercial challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with executive and senior leadership across Business Units to initiate and integrate the design and development of new solutions to grow the business, or to terminate those that are no longer viable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development and sales, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Proven track record of success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of the industry and a keen eye for emerging trends.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
