\Astron Energy Ltd. is seeking a Public Affairs and Stakeholder Liaison to join its team.
\The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage stakeholders and advocate for the company's strategic objectives, sustainability goals, and business excellence initiatives.
\Reporting to the General Manager of Strategy, Sustainability, and Business Excellence, this role plays a critical part in enhancing the company's reputation and fostering positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and government relations.
\Key Areas of Responsibility

- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to achieve business objectives.\
- Promote the company's sustainability efforts to stakeholders and the broader community.\
- Design and deliver effective communication plans to engage stakeholders.\
- Create and manage content for stakeholder communications, including reports, presentations, and digital media.\
- Ensure consistent and transparent communication with all stakeholders.\
- Address stakeholder concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and effective manner.\
- Implement strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with stakeholder relationships.\
- Align stakeholder engagement strategies with the company's overall strategic objectives, sustainability goals, and business excellence initiatives.\
- Provide insights and recommendations to the GM for Strategy, Sustainability, and Business Excellence on stakeholder-related opportunities and risks.\
- Develop and implement integrated stakeholder engagement strategies.\
- Identify and prioritize key stakeholders, including customers, partners, government entities, community groups, and employees.\
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support business objectives and enhance the company's reputation.\
- Develop and execute advocacy strategies to promote the company's interests and objectives.\
- Represent the company in meetings with stakeholders, including government officials, industry groups, and community organizations.\
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that could impact the company and advocate for favorable outcomes.\

- Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.\
- \
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in stakeholder relations, communications, or a similar role.\
- \
- Proven experience in developing and executing stakeholder engagement strategies, including government relations.\
- Strong understanding of corporate strategy, sustainability, and business excellence principles.\
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.\
