Nightingale Hospital London is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team and provide operational management support and clinical leadership to our Nursing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Mental Health Nurses in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Mentor and support newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.
You will be an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current valid NMC registration. You will hold an ENB 998 Mentorship Course and have experience of mentoring. You will have previous experience at a supervisory or ward management level.
Requirements- Registered mental health nurse.
- Evidence of post-registration study / continuing professional development.
- Proven experience in leadership and management of clinical care.
- Ability to take responsibility for daily operational ward management.
- Experience in an inpatient acute setting.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current nursing practices.
- Awareness/understanding of current health/nursing issues.
- Knowledge of clinical governance.
- Computer literacy.
- Evidence of involvement in the development of protocols and clinical audit.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal & written.
- Solid organisational skills.
- Strong patient experience and customer service focus.
