Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure innovative designs are completed following good engineering practices and industry standards.
  • Provide design interface between internal and external design disciplines.
  • Manage vendor and consultant information for accurate design interfaces.
  • Evaluate peer reviews and approvals of discipline designs.
  • Implement continuous improvement, lessons learnt, value engineering, and latest technologies.
  • Provide inputs for studies and proposals.
  • Offer engineering support to site teams.

Operational Management

  • Promote a total safety culture and ensure SHE matters are addressed.
  • Comply with relevant project procedures.
  • Issue fabrication, manufacturing, and construction drawings according to project programme.
  • Manage assigned civil packages over the full project lifecycle.
  • Ensure packages are installed/constructed as per project & vendor specifications.
  • Manage procurement, fabrication, and construction within discipline responsibility.
  • Present structured, accurate, complete, and well-presented reports.
  • Foster proactive communication with project teams regarding discipline interface and problem-solving.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters or degree in Civil Engineering essential.
  • Professional Registered Engineer/Technologist advantageous.
  • PMP certification advantageous.
