Stratogo is seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join our team. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of boilers and related equipment. Your duties will include making design changes as requested by the Foreman, carrying out special technical tasks, and supporting maintenance staff with technical solutions. You will also be responsible for structural boiler making, pipe development, plant maintenance, and building and installation of shoots and guards. Additionally, you will control and coordinate materials, ensure the correct allocation of labor hours, and maintain a high-quality product. You will work closely with the Foreman and Engineer to improve manufacturing methods and ensure good manufacturing practice. You will also be responsible for housekeeping and safety, safe working practices, and preventing injuries and damage to plant and equipment. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF level 4 equivalent qualification, a clear criminal record, and trade testing and certification.
