Bricklaying Professional

At KZN Builders Association, we are seeking a highly skilled Bricklaying Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials to construct and repair structures such as walls, buildings, and pathways.

• Mix mortar to ensure proper consistency for bonding materials.
• Align structures using levels, plumb bobs, and measuring tools.
• Cut and shape bricks using hand and power tools.
• Repair and restore existing masonry structures as needed.
• Follow blueprints, drawings, and building plans for accurate construction.
• Load, unload, and transport bricks, cement, and other materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following site safety regulations.
• Assist in general construction tasks when bricklaying is not required.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a bricklayer or construction worker and knowledge of bricklaying techniques and materials. Strong physical stamina, ability to read and follow blueprints or instructions, and familiarity with construction site safety protocols are essential skills for this role.
