We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting Accountant to join our team at MNA Recruitment (Pty) Ltd.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating financial reporting, internal audit verification, and administration functions. This includes preparing and submitting monthly/quarterly management accounts, management reports, profit forecasts, and profit estimates in accordance with the Financial Director's requirements.

Liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the candidate will prepare financial statements for the company and group subsidiaries, manage and maintain the financial hygiene of the Company Ledger, and work on ad hoc projects.

The successful candidate will be authorized to approve journals and reconciliations, investigate unusual transactions, and release local and forex payments. They will also implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with relevant VAT and SARB regulations.

Other responsibilities include coordinating, planning, and preparing the annual budget, year-end accounting packs, and tax packs. The candidate will also add value through enhanced information delivery by developing the ERP system and reviewing business processes when required.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a Board 1 qualification with articles and at least 2 years of post-article commercial experience. Proficiency in Oracle R12 and Office 365 suite is essential, while proficiency in Hyperion/FDM and GL-WAND is an advantage.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is between R250,000 - R350,000 per annum, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
