Our intermediate phase facilitators play a crucial role in driving student achievement by creating a positive learning culture and ensuring effective use of online resources.

We operate 21 primary schools and 5 high schools, serving over 18,000 families across South Africa.

This role reports to the Principal or Assistant Principal.

Purpose of Role:

As an intermediate phase facilitator, you will oversee the implementation of our blended learning model, working closely with students, teachers, and school administrators to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Creating and submitting lesson plans for project-based learning, in collaboration with intermediate phase teachers.
  2. Communicating and collaborating with teachers and school administrators to create individualized learning plans for students.
  3. Using our culture and behavior management strategies to promote a positive student culture.
  4. Incorporating our SEL curriculum with scholars.
  5. Ensuring all educational resources and assets are used responsibly and effectively.
  6. Reporting all damages to hardware to the School Operations Manager and filling out relevant incident reports if needed.
  7. Optimizing timetables to ensure learning time is managed well.
  8. Participating actively in staff development opportunities as a member of our team.
  9. Conducting yourself in a professional manner at all company events and to all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • English language fluency.
  • Police clearance certificate.
  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Studying part-time towards a B.Ed. or PGCE in the Intermediate or Senior Phase (3rd or 4th Year), with a view to becoming a qualified teacher.

Experience:

  • Previous experience managing or working with primary school-aged children.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new technology.
