Spectrum Strategist

TalentCru is seeking a skilled Spectrum Strategist to join our team. As a Senior Specialist – Spectrum, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's technology spectrum strategy and implementing short-term and long-term plans.

• Spectrum Modelling: Develop long-term forecasts of each market's spectrum requirements based on different scenarios.
• Group Spectrum Strategy: Define and update the company's spectrum strategy, specifying opportunities for optimization of existing assets through re-farming and other techniques, and identifying new spectrum acquisition opportunities.
• Regulatory Investigations: Represent technology in regulatory investigations, providing technical consultation services relating to spectrum.
• Network Introduction: Support markets on introducing viable new technologies, such as 5G.
• Advanced Network Sharing Technologies: Support markets on network sharing technologies, representing technology in regulatory and legal investigations as required.

• Align Group Spectrum strategy with forecasted spectrum requirements and support the effective execution of identified spectrum opportunities.
• Support the company's Advanced Network sharing technology, regulatory, and legal requirements.
• Research and document new technologies, facilitating their introduction ahead of competitors.

• Grade 12 is essential.
• A 3-year B.Sc. Electrical/Electronic or Engineering Diploma is essential.
• 5-8 years' experience in Spectrum is essential.
• B.Eng/ M.Sc. Eng. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is advantageous but not necessary.
