**Chief Financial Coordinator**

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team as Chief Financial Coordinator at Red Ember Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies, ensuring the company's financial goals are met.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet items, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations.
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to management, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Assist with audits and financial reviews, providing supporting documentation and explanations as required.
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**

  • Suitable qualification in Accounting, such as BCom (Hons) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the property industry with MDA.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in creating complex spreadsheets and financial models.
  • Proficiency in well-known South African accounting software packages, such as Pastel, Sage, and Xero.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
