About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven professional to take on a key leadership position in a dynamic and growing organization. As the Head of Medical Affairs, you will play a critical role in shaping the medical strategy of the company and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and Executing Medical Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive medical strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Scientific Expertise: Provide scientific expertise to support the development and launch of new products, as well as ongoing product maintenance.
- Collaboration with Commercial Teams: Work closely with commercial teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and strategy.
- Evidence Generation and Publication: Identify opportunities for evidence generation and publication, and oversee the development and execution of these activities.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with the training manager to develop and deliver training programs on disease states, competitor products, and other relevant topics.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- A degree in medicine with at least 5 years of industry experience in medical affairs.
- In-depth understanding of and proven success in conceptualizing, designing, and executing patient programs.
- Broad and formal leadership experience, including excellent leadership presence to represent medical affairs within the company.
- Excellent communication skills to build solid working relationships with commercial organizations and negotiate and influence.
