This role is pivotal in steering the Plant towards enhanced performance through comprehensive loss analysis, data analytics, and effective training systems. The position collaborates closely with the Plant Leadership Team to implement the Journey to Excellence (JTE) strategy, which emphasizes the development of employee capabilities, ensuring data reliability, and fostering employee engagement through the adoption of high-performance work systems aimed at achieving outstanding business outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Enhance Visibility of Loss Data
Spearhead annual loss analysis to align with the site's objectives and budgetary goals. Collaborate with site leadership to prioritize loss reduction initiatives. Provide analytical support and justifications for technological advancements and capital investments. Lead the Focused Improvement initiative at the site.2. Drive Data and Analytics at the Site
Ensure the integrity of site data through rigorous training, health checks, and change management. Analyze and provide insights on key performance indicators such as Process Reliability, Productivity, Yield, and Scrap. Compile and disseminate the site scorecard on a monthly basis. Develop and implement a comprehensive site analytics strategy. Establish a scorecard review process with appropriate frequency and stakeholders. Promote data-driven decision-making across all organizational levels.3. Establish Effective Training Systems
Mentor site personnel and subject matter experts on methodologies and tools: Performance data interpretation and trends Problem-solving techniques Root cause analysis methodologies Loss reduction strategies Engage in the Training and Development initiative Develop and sustain site training frameworksCANDIDATE PROFILE
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is essential. At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations is required. A background in Total Productive Maintenance, Lean methodologies, Change Management, and Organizational Effectiveness is preferred. Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) is advantageous. Proven leadership experience in team and operations management is desirable. Familiarity with current and emerging Business Intelligence tools, including SAP Hana and Tableau, is beneficial. Proficient in analyzing complex datasets, deriving insights, and constructing robust statistical models. Must be adept at working with both structured and unstructured data. Capable of interpreting intricate information to make informed judgments and decisions. Must thrive in detail-oriented environments without being hindered by analysis.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
