Key responsibilities of the Business Development Strategist role include:

Client Engagement:

  • Collaborate with clients to gather and document business requirements.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to identify business needs and challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their business goals and objectives.

Business Analysis:

  • Analyse and map business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop functional specifications and business cases for proposed solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the impact of proposed changes.

Solution Design:

  • Work with technical teams to design and develop technology solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop wireframes, process flows, and user stories to guide the development process.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with industry best practices and client standards.

Project Management:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of projects, including timeline management and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Use data analytics tools to analyse business data and generate insights.
  • Prepare client reports and presentations, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Support clients in implementing and optimising technology solutions.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, as well as 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology or consulting environment.
