About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in big data engineering and experience working with large data sets. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure that supports data storage, processing, and retrieval.

  • Oversee data collection mechanisms and how they fit into data architecture, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality and accuracy.

  • Manage basic aspects of the data management system with guidance from senior colleagues.

  • Install and test complex databases and associated products to ensure they are suitable for use and meet customer requirements.
